In our English 2 class, we were asked to make a term paper. A term paper whose topic really fits in our chosen courses. At first, I got confused on what would be my topic. I want it to be unique and interesting. So I decided to make a term paper that would tackle how online pornography affects the lives of the Filipino adolescents.

Pornographic websites are very rampant nowadays on the web. People of different races with different beliefs can easily access the sensual materials. Even children and teenagers can easily access those materials. Numerous concerns relating to young people’s exposure to explicit sexual depictions have been raised by health professionals and others. It has a great impact on the lives of the adolescents.
Online pornography has greatly affects the lives of the Filipino adolescents. It has eroded the moral, social, and physical aspects of the lives of the adolescents. Since online pornography is very accessible nowadays, many Filipino teenagers tend to access it because of curiosity. And when they have already watched it, they will become addicted to it and slowly by slowly they will be influenced by those erotic movies. Their moral value starts to disintegrate. They will tend to do things that are way beyond their normal doings. In other words, their behavior will change.
It is an inevitable fact that pornography has many ill effects on the lives of the Filipino adolescents ever since online pornography was created. It has long been condemned in the belief that it corrupts the minds, the morality, and the totality of the Filipinos especially the minors.
Online pornography has eroded the moral values of the Filipino adolescents.They become more obsessed in watching online pornography especially when they are alone and they become very sexually active at their young ages. Because of this, rate of child pornography increases and cases of sex crimes made by teenagers also increases. Online pornography also encourages teenagers to have sex early.
Online pornography has altered the social aspect of the lives of the Filipino adolescents. It hinders the social relationship of the Filipino adolescents to the other people and because of this, more and more Filipino adolescents choose to be alone and watch erotic videos than hang with friends and socialize.
Online pornography has also deprived the physical traits of the Filipino adolescents. It leads to the deterioration of health of the Filipino adolescents. It encourages Filipino adolescents to wear sexy, obscene and indecent outfits.

The existence of online pornography has disturbed us all. It eradicates the totality of the people especially the minor ones. It has really altered the behaviors and the moral of the Filipino adolescents. Many adolescents have done terrible things – they have raped someone at their age level or younger than them, they have molested innocent animals, they engage their selves in pre-marital sex, more and more suffered from STDs and teenage pregnancies – all of these are because of online pornography. Therefore, we should make some actions to stop this unlawful doings. We must put it in our minds the results of engaging ourselves into these explicit videos. Let us educate ourselves on what would be the consequences in making such unlawful things. Let us not allow and force ourselves to make this kind of doings even though we know it is not yet the right time to do it so. So, it is now the right time to decide! Can you do something in order to stop these actions or will you just sit there and let pornography destroy our selves? THINK!
